Teppei Arima is a second-year high school student who lost both of his parents in a traffic accident on their way home from a family trip. His grandfather, Isshin Arima, happens to wield the puppet strings in Japan’s vast economy and demands that Teppei becomes his successor as the head of the Arima Group. I'll start off by saying that I have watched both this series and the OVAs. While the OVAs are much more hentai oriented, this TV series does a pretty decent job of creating a storyline for us to follow and getting us to care more about what happens to the characters.
We get to see more of their backgrounds, helping us to understand what motivates them and why they would really be together. i.e. school for the super rich / nobles. And we get to see our hero grow into the new role placed upon him.
This TV series does not contain the sexuality of the OVAs though the characters are still drawn to that exciting and enticing standard. So, if you are after the hentai side...then watch the OVAs, if you are interested more in a story about a hero seeking to live a new life with elements of revenge thrown and cute girls that all want him....then watch this TV version.
