A Classic Horror that brings emotions to anyone

This series is quickly forgotten among the vast piles of anime out there. Heck, I only found out about this when I was browing Funimation trailers on Youtube. But as soon as I watched this I was hooked. Each episode brings just the right amount of mystery to make you want to watch the next episode to see what happens. I don't really want to get much into the plot except that during its time it was one of a kind (but now you'll find some shows similar to it). In a nutshell, its a race of female zombies that are fighting against a race of mutated humans. The battle sequences are really well animated for its time and they make the fights realistic. There's no magic or special powers (I guess jumping high is one of them), just hand-to-hand, or bat-to-head combat. Or as the famous quote from the end of the first episode "You see that man, you four are here to kill him, with your bare hands". Its very interesting, in fact, it has the best character development out there. It shows how they all slowly change to grow to like each other (because at first they weren't really friends). Only issue is that they probably spend too much time on the friend stuff and not enough time on the mortal combat stuff. Just saying cause they don't fight in every ep. A unique thing though is that this takes place in the US with all American characters (so I would advise watching the dub because they mastered their voices...cause they're American). Only issue with the animation is that their noses are so...deformed. I mean, do they think everyone in the US has noses like they? Anyways, its a great series to watch, but only if you are able to handle seeing the personal developement...along with zombie grannies fighting against zombies in one ep ^_^, that was a pure, WTF moment. Final note, there are a lot of pure AWESOMENESS moments in here.
