First to correct one of the other reviewers who said this was shoujo anime; it's not shoujo, its seinen.
Now that aside, this is a really great anime with an excellent concept, characters, and story. Despite all the comedy and cute characters, there are actually a lot of very deep and complex emotional moments, and it explores several different deep and complicated life issues. Very good if you enjoy animes with characters who are far from perfect and are trying to work out their internal conflicts and such.
Though in order to really enjoy it, you need to watch all of both seasons and the OVAs. Just season 1 on its own is alright, but nowhere near as good as the entire set.
