Summary: The story takes place in a fantasy world and revolves around a 15-year-old girl named Pacifica Casull, who is the sister in a set of twins born to the royal family of a kingdom called Leinwan and then, literally, thrown away. The 5111th Grendel Prophecy predicts that she will be the "poison that will destroy the world" if she reaches her sixteenth birthday. To prevent this she is dropped off a cliff as an infant ("scrapped"). Believed to be dead, her survival remains no more than a rumour until she is already 15 years old.

... there were a bit more romance :(

The story is at the very equilibrium of light-hearted adventure and serious meaning-of-life. I was never kept feeling tense for too long nor was i ever kept feeling relaxed and bored for too long. Too be honest, even though i'm a big fan of meccha especially the Gundam series, i tend to skip the prolonged battle scenes quite often. This anime is the perfect mixture which makes the anime a great watch at any time. The fights are never too long, sometimes short enough to leave me wanting more.

Warning for those who haven't watched this:
There will be a very depressing death of a much-loved character (in general). Seriously it was so freaking sad i couldn't believe it for a moment, thinking that the character would be saved somehow.

And yes, the lack of romance :( i'm a romantic fangirl who looks for romance in every kind of story, so i was left very disappointed indeed by the end of this anime. There was just a tiny bit of romance in the end. But the biggest manifestation of what could have been the perfect happy ending was brutally killed off together with the death i mentioned above.

There are only a few anime series i save on my computer to watch again. This is not one of those, unfortunately. But i don't regret watching it. It was a very good watch with exciting twists :)
