| Summary: |
Shana and Alastor, Lord of the Crimson Realm continue to do battle with the Denizens, who are trying to steal the Power of Existence from mortals. In the last battle, Yuji is revealed to be a mystes, a "torch" of nearly unlimited Power of Existince. Since the Denizens want to capture Yuji and use him to upset the balance of the Realm, Shana resolves to protect Yuji. Yuji then vows to join Shana in her fight. |

[I didn't watch Shakugan no Shana, so my judgement might be off regarding this anime as a seqeul.]
This was one amazingly action-packed anime with lots of gusto and excitement! Not to mention that a smaller storyline of the main characters' usual everyday (love)life is also fitted in so well. This anime has pretty much everything, and everything was quite nicely done. The story was a bit confusing, with too many details, but anybody could squeeze out just the amount needed to understand the plot and enjoy it. The characters are awesome and so cute, some of them!! The animation was truly epic, you'd be blinded by its awesomeness. The action is not petty, but comes out strong and true. Every fight will keep you grounded and with the characters from beginning to end. There are many laughs as well as serious moments. You'll enjoy this.

If you can imagine Yuri on Ice! meets Holmes of Kyoto, then this is it. Slow paced but gripping. Boy-Love but not distasteful...
