| Summary: |
Shana and Alastor, Lord of the Crimson Realm continue to do battle with the Denizens, who are trying to steal the Power of Existence from mortals. In the last battle, Yuji is revealed to be a mystes, a "torch" of nearly unlimited Power of Existince. Since the Denizens want to capture Yuji and use him to upset the balance of the Realm, Shana resolves to protect Yuji. Yuji then vows to join Shana in her fight. |

Shakugan no shana (the first series) was my first anime that I have watched that wasn't that much action and had romance in it. I found that one to be amazing, and I think this second one is even better although it is more or less just basically the next episode, I don't know why they felt they had to change it's name. Anyway they are both great animes that I found very entertaining, I don't want to spoil anything, just wanted to say that this is among my top 5.

If you can imagine Yuri on Ice! meets Holmes of Kyoto, then this is it. Slow paced but gripping. Boy-Love but not distasteful...
