As Gonzo has always been popular for their great animes and graphic. This is not an exception.
You must watch this series if you ever watch either one of these:
-Code Geass
-Valkyria Chr.
-Gurren Lagann
Why?
Because Shangri-La is a whole new something else, different from any of those above, but as twice as good. It deserve a better popularity.
This story is mainly about a girl, Kuniko, who struggles to fight for the rights of people from the outside world who live in danger and exposure toward pollution and natural disasters, while the rich and powerful people live in the heavenly building-city, Atlas.

If you can imagine Yuri on Ice! meets Holmes of Kyoto, then this is it. Slow paced but gripping. Boy-Love but not distasteful...
