Steins;Gate is about a group of friends who have customized their microwave into a device that can send text messages to the past. As they perform different experiments, an organization named SERN who has been doing their own research on time travel tracks them down and now the characters have to find a way to avoid being captured by them. |

I'd like to recommend this anime as well. It's true. The first few episodes are f***ing boring, like i even asked myself why am i watching this? Some weird scientist is doing some weird home experiments with bananas and you're like "dude, get a girlfriend" but as you watch episode after episode it's honestly addictive. Genre? I'd say horror first, then mystery then romance. Honestly the way this guy keeps on going back in time to save his friend is really deep and i felt really sympathetic towards him. Definitely best sci-fi story ever.
