Steins;Gate is about a group of friends who have customized their microwave into a device that can send text messages to the past. The anime starts off in a slow pace , you gotta be very patient to get a hang of it . Maybe until the 4th or 7th episode you'll be like ' what is this ' , but from the 8th episode its awesome
The story is slow at start but keeps you interested until the end .
The animation seems to be dull in the first few episodes but it is very impressive .
The characters are good , at times they make you feel like you are one of them .
Have you ever wanted to travel through time , ever wondered what would happen if you ever did , ever wondered if you could really change your past or present or future and what would be the consequences if you did change a thing .
Watch this anime and all these questions will be answered .
This is one of those best animes I have ever come through after Death Note

If you can imagine Yuri on Ice! meets Holmes of Kyoto, then this is it. Slow paced but gripping. Boy-Love but not distasteful...
