This series had great potential of being an excellent series. The characters were likable and enjoyable. The animation art was good. Story premise was open to fit in more plot. The genre of supernatural, horror, mythological stuff is among my favorite.
I would have liked to have seen a bit more development, honestly. The short jobs are entertaining and range from humorous to somewhat dramatic. Initially, I thought the story was about the relationship development of Kantarou and Haruka. I would have liked to see that story to the end. However, this particular tale is not completely about them. I didn't realize the true story until the very end. It was quite sad but endearing.

If you can imagine Yuri on Ice! meets Holmes of Kyoto, then this is it. Slow paced but gripping. Boy-Love but not distasteful...
