| Summary: |
In the world where the taste and texture of food are very important there is Toriko, a hunter of precious foods regularly hired by restaurants and the rich. A man with inhuman skills to capture the ferocious, evasive and rare animals to complete his ultimate dinner course and then the chef Komatsu, his current accomplice: a weak timid person who was inspired by Toriko's greatness and accompanies him on all his journeys on his quest for the course of his life. |

I know Toriko may not be for everyone but I love it. I love food so an anime where the world is basically made of food really piqued my interest when I first heard of it lol The characters are funny and entertaining and each has their own back story to tell. I also Torkio's brazenness and Komatsu's awkwardness in the story. I think those two characters really compliment each other as well. Though my favorite side character is definitely Suni lol he's ridiculous with his beauty obsession but it adds to his charm really lol
I also really like the theme song...can't really explain why I just find it so much fun to sing along to lol

If you can imagine Yuri on Ice! meets Holmes of Kyoto, then this is it. Slow paced but gripping. Boy-Love but not distasteful...
