Review for Toriko

Well, just finished watching the first 2 episodes of this crossover with one piece. I was impressed at first when toriko and luffy first met, they got into a small fight which made me think "Oh, this is going to be good". The food in this anime is great and makes you want to be there or at least have food like that, in other words, it makes you hungry.

The thing that I'm not sure I'm going to like is if every episode is just going to be about beating up animals to get an ingredient. Toriko's goal to make the best course meal....I don't know, never heard of such a goal, especially from the main character. I would understand Sanji chasing afer all blue, but the main character to have such a goal, it's different for me.

The animation is great in my opinion, the dialogue is average in these episodes since all they talked about was eating and chasing after different ingredients. The entertainment is there, I like how they keep forgetting about saving komatsu when he got captured.

I'm going to give this anime a few more episodes untill I decide if I want to keep watching or not. I suggest when watching a new anime, to watch it until the fifth episode, and if you are not feeling it, then you can move on and find a different one. So for this one, I'm going to wait for a couple more episodes to be released to decide. Now, I gotta buy some food, I'm feeling hungry.

PS: I would rate this anime from these episodes a 3.5/5.
