Umineko no Naku Koro ni takes place in the year 1986, during the time frame of October 4 and October 5 on a secluded island named Rokkenjima (ć
è»ćł¶, Rokkenjima). The head of a wealthy family named Kinzo Ushiromiya, who lives on and owns Rokkenjima, is near death, and eight of his family members arrive on the island to discuss how Kinzo's assets will be divided once he is dead. Also on the island are three family members who live there, five of Kinzo's servants, and his personal physician. After the eight family members arrive, a typhoon traps them on the island and shortly after people start to get mysteriously murdered. |

Umineko no naku koro ni is an anime about murder cases and magic. It's about a young man called Ushiromiya Battler who comes from the rich family Ushiromiya. One day when the family was going to have a reunion because the head of the family only had a short time left to live and they are going to decide how to spend the money persons start to die and everyone starts suspecting eachother. but the murders were almost impossible to cary out so the question is. whas it a one of the 18 people on the island who did it or is there a 19 person on the island? This anime also includes some really bloody scenes so you know! But i reccomend it to those who like a good thriller with mysterious murders and rituals. Also "Let my flip the chessboard over" is something Battler says when he wants to think about a case.
