Review of Valkyria Chronicles

I notice that many people who rated this anime poorly tend to do so because they compared it to the game version and felt that the anime version could not live up to their expectations. However, when evaluated on its own without comparing it to the game version, I think it is a pretty good anime, with good storyline and likable characters. In fact, I like it so much that I actually bought the DVD version later on.
