A favorite of mine

I'm always been a huge fan of CLAMP work, so I might be a bit biased, but I considered this anime to be excellent.

First of all, the art is incredible, very detailed for characters like Yuko, and very creative and interesting for other entities that go around. The music must also be noticed here for setting a nice "occult-kinda" feeling to the series. Characters are very well thought of, and have a very deep development to them, although not all of it is reveales in the series [you would have to go to the manga for that].

The story in itself is not that overly complicated... in the anime that is. You can think of this as an animated crash course on Japanese superstitions and all that. A good sub will have some notes on things that might be particularly foreign to westerners.

I said that the story is not that complicated in the anime, because this title on Manga has a huge relationship with "Tsubasa Chronicles", also by CLAMP... but this relationship is not portrayed as much in the animation.

Overall I'm sure that you would find this anime entertaining; do try to watch a couple of episodes; remember that there are no coincides in this world, the fact that you're reading my review means something... maybe to go and watch xXx Holic
