Set before the end of the second Yu-Gi-Oh! anime series (Yu-Gi-Oh: Duel Monsters) - between the Grand Championship and Memory World, Capsule Monsters involves Yugi, Joey (Jonouchi), Téa (Anzu), Tristan (Honda), and Yugi's grandfather Solomon (Sugoroku) being pulled into a world where Duel Monsters are real. They find monster capsules that they can use to summon monsters. However, in this strange new world, they battle monsters and when their monsters are attacked they feel the pain. Yugi Muto believes it to be some sort of twisted Shadow Game. |

this anime is almost impossible to find in japanese so the episodes are in english. if you love yugioh in anyway being 5d's gx or duel monsters then you'll love this anime. only 12 short episodes it takes place in the duel monsters time period and is definatly worth the watch. full of action adventure, suspense, comedy, humor, fun, monsters, card tournaments, good vs evil, wins and losses and the occational spikey haired hero. if you enjoy card games then you'll like this anime. or really if you've ever played capsule monsters. the engish version took all twelve episodes and combined them into 2 "movies" and where released as such. i added this anime to help better the site. though the files are good they aren't hd quality. please help better the site by uploading the hd files if you have them. thanks and enjoy.

If you can imagine Yuri on Ice! meets Holmes of Kyoto, then this is it. Slow paced but gripping. Boy-Love but not distasteful...
