| Summary: |
Duelist Kingdom is the first arc in the Duel Monsters anime. Maximillion Pegasus (Pegasus J. Crawford in the Japanese version), using the power of the Millennium Eye, manages to seal away the soul of Yugi's grandfather Solomon Muto (Sugoroku Mutou in the Japanese version), and Yugi must save him by entering a children's card game tournament on Pegasus' private island. Meanwhile, Joey Wheeler (Katsuya Jonouchi) enters the tournament in order to pay for his sister's eye surgery, and Pegasus and several top executives at KaibaCorp plot to remove Seto Kaiba from the head of his company. |

this anime is a card game lovers paradise. there really isn't much i can say, i love this anime period. i'm a huge fan of yugioh and duel monsters is my favorite. if you like card game tournaments in which not only are they fighting for the title of the king of games but also fighting to save the planet and the people they love then you'll love this anime. full of action, adventure, card game tournaments, duels, suspense, comedy, humor, fun, good vs evil, wins and losses, and a bit of romance. join yugi muto on his adventures with his "otherself" as they play the most popular card game in the world. if you love 5d's or gx you'll love duel monsters. i've added this to help better the site. the files i have to upload are of hd quality and i'll be uploading them soon. sit back and enjoy.

If you can imagine Yuri on Ice! meets Holmes of Kyoto, then this is it. Slow paced but gripping. Boy-Love but not distasteful...
