pros
+ good concept (and great manga) with a distinctive storyline
+ strong in terms of animation and music
+ overall likable characters
cons
- story is somewhat slow in parts and stays without closure
- rather typical main character
- drawn-out/repetitive dialogue, especially in fights
conclusion: a nice one, good in its concept with a distinctive storyline and overall likeable charas, and strong where it comes to animation. personally, i prefer the manga (yah... there i go again) since the anime, unlike the manga, doesn't provide any (read more)

This is just the first arc of the story. The manga-ka had some personal issues and stop the series, when the first season of this anime finished. He is making it again so there is a chance they may pick it back up. I didn't see a category of whether the story was complete. Their are plenty of good anime that cannot be pick up again because either the manga-ka died, or it was the studio's swan song. Other studio usually don't pick up defunct studio's works. Examples of good anime where the manga-ka died are Trinity Blood and Kaze no Stigma. Marking (read more)

THIS ANIME IS GOOD FOR WHAT IT IS. Great Story and good for the other ones. (show less)

I recently started watching this anime. I liked the whole premise and the story. The only complain I have is the main protagonist Teito is kinda letdown to the whole anime. He is clearly undeserving to be the main character, their is no depth in him.
The anime starts out as interesting but it's pretty much like any anime. It's always interesting the first few episode with the main hero going through some major event than...it sort of settles down a bit. I have to say the story is interesting as we get to see secrets that are connected to our hero but...entertainment wise...too slow and borning. I watch four episode and I was done with this anime. I think it could of been better like the manga itself but the anime was just too slow in developing.

this anime is for those who can sit and wait forever to solve some missing facts and humor but not for me who wants action in every corner. If you prefer more action like me, this anime is not for you. however, if you prefer a little bit of everything take your time to check it out. (show less)
