A Little Princess Sara is a 1985 Japanese television series based on Frances Hodgson Burnett's 1905 children's novel A Little Princess. The series was produced by Nippon Animation under the direction of Fumio Kurokawa and scriptwriting by Ryūzō Nakanishi. Princess Sarah premiered on 6 January 1985 on Fuji Television, designating it as the 11th series of Nippon Animation's World Masterpiece Theater staple for a span of 46 episodes [1] in which two pieces of theme music performed by Satoko Shimonari were used for the opening and closing of each episode. |
