Summary:
Keiichi Morisato is looking forward to university life. But in reality, he has no luck in anything, and he has trouble with clubs, love, etc. The truth is that he has an unlucky star above his head. One day, Keiichi is stuck watching the dorm while his sempai are away, and has a mountain of chores to do to boot. But Keiichi is a good-natured person, and is set about doing his duties. As he is about to finish his final chore, he makes a phone call to his sempai. But the words that came through the receiver are, 'Goddess Help Line.' Shortly afterwards, a beautiful goddess named Belldandy appears in front of him from the mirror of his room.
This full length remake based on the OVA's from the 1990's. The story moves more slowly, and is more comedic than dramatic. But it captures the spirit of the story. With the full length series we get to explore the side characters in more depth.
Rom-com aimed at guys, and absolutely recommended! At first glance, AMG may be a bit typical in its setup (loser meets girl), but the whole thing is too funny to pass it by just for that. Adorably lighthearted, nothing to think about, but cute, funny, and awesome to spend an afternoon or two laughing! Just remember to cut it on the coke :) (random insert)
... oh and please replace the picture, it's from Youre under Arrest, that one's good too but it might confuse some viewers.

Very entertaining series with a variety of lovable characters. It has most of anything you'd want anime such as comedy, romance, even a bit of action. Saying that, this could also be described as 'Soppy' seeing as how it is more of a romantic anime. However I for one believe even people who are action-anime fanatics will thoroughly enjoy this series. :)

It's an interesting amine to watch! Everything all started with a simple phone call to which connects the main character to heaven, and everything in his life changes once a goddess lives with him.

After a brief consultation with the heavens, Belldandy tells him his wish has been granted. And thus begins the start of Keiichi’s new life. Almost immediately, sempai returns, and seeing that Keiichi has broken the No Girls Allowed rule of the dorm, tosses them out on to the street to find a new home. But as Belldandy is the Ultimate Girlfriend, she is quickly able to petition the powers that be to find them a new home in an old temple nearby. Yes, she cooks. She cleans. She has magical powers. She can heal. She can make the best of any situation. And she is perfectly content giving up her Goddess home to live with Keiichi. Life is perfect for Keiichi… until his sister, Megumi, shows up… and then Belldandy’s two sisters show up… and everyone lives together in the temple. Keiichi deals with Megumi pretty well, especially when she offers him her stipend to get buy with. Belldandy’s older sister, Urd, however, is another matter. She immediately shows up and tactfully encourages Keiichi to make a move on Belldandy… something he’s not at all comfortable doing because, well, he’s never had a girlfriend before. And of course someone or something always seems to get in the way. Not long afterwards, Belldandy’s jealous little sister, Skuld, appears and tries to break the two up so Belldandy will be able to return home (show less)
