Summary:
Minami Itsuki never thought about seriously riding Air Treck motorized roller blades, until he got his butt handed to him by a street gang of Storm Riders. That day, he discovered in a locked up room, a pair of AT's and a box of stickers belonging to the Sleeping Forest street gang. One thing leads to another, and Ikki dons the wheels and begins to ride. As his reputation builds in the AT street fighting/racing world, he begins to develop his own gang and participate in more fights, gaining more and more territory.

pros
+ vibrant, unique, and engaging characters
+ good comedy and entertainment
+ nice action with suspenseful movements
cons
- chunks of the story (from the manga) were left out
- incomplete
- doesn't live up to the manga's artwork, colours sometimes unfitting
conclusion: a decent one, i guess. unique to say the very least, with lovable characters, good comedy and overall entertainment, and fluid movement (makes for awesome surreal moves in action! lol). has sports, comedy, the desire to reach the sky, and fanservice that for once doesn't (read more)

conclusion: a decent one, i guess. unique to say the very least, with lovable characters, good comedy and overall entertainment, and fluid movement (makes for awesome surreal moves in action! lol). has sports, comedy, the desire to reach the sky, and fanservice that for once doesn't get into the way of the story. downside would be that it doesn't quite do the mangaka's art justice, and chunks of the story were left out, making the overall plot somewhat repetitive. characters, their relations and development make up for that part of the time, but even they can't make up for an end fallen flat. the anime is entertaining enough overall, but i'd recommend the manga in a heartbeat.

Weak storyline but good entertainment. The characters are very charming and engaging. One problem though, I hate that most Japanese anime/manga exaggerates the age of characters. I mean does Ikki looks like a 13 year old?
... it just doesn't manage to entertain you as much as it could have. although it looks like effort was put in, i felt that the characters are meh, the presentation is meh, just one big meh despite seemingly nothing particularly wrong with it.
i don't kno wut to say 'bout this anime.. it's cool,funny.. and at the same time, i can feel romnce in this.. but why it must an ecchi... and i think, this anime is lacking in story line..
Well in comparison to the recent review made i can't say that the anime was like even great it was pretty dodged out in terms of the plot as the ending is left open in comparison to the manga which was pretty lame but it's an okay anime, i guess just okay nothing greater nothing less it is decent entertainment. I would not reccomend this to anyone but if I was to rate this out of a 10 it'd be either a 6/7 so it's a pretty average anime

the anime in its self is very average. I have read the manga which was excellent but the show itself is not so good. They leave out big chunks from the manga. But if you have not read the manga the show wont be so bad.
