Before i discovered Clannad, this is the first anime that i cried on. Like usual, i don't understand much. Probably too complex for me when i am still young. But when i grew older, i can understand why they do so. The ending might not be satisfying but there's a 2min special about one of the ending. Watch it and i doubt u will be unsatisfied with it.
A must watch series that starts of relatively uncharacteristically and slow to a certain extent but then pulls it all together to be absolutely brilliant.
The comedy is suitable and the variety of characters makes this anime captivating... The story-line does start off strangely at first and what seems to be a reverse-harem series initially, turns out be a very gripping an surprisingly emotionally captivating series.
For any anime lover tired of the typical story plots and over the top attempts to be melodramatic, this is a series for you.
If you want an good anime that has a touchy great beautiful story about friendship and love, has good art, with action seasoning and GREAT ending..
this one's for you
At the first time, ALMOST all people who know anime recommended this anime to me, and I rejected it.
At first I thought that this anime is those kind of cliché animes but boy, I was WRONG!
there were so many messages in this anime to encourage you to live your lives, and things like that. I liked the story VERY MUCH. and those plot twists between the SSS and Tenshi...were the plus points of this anime actually.
but then, I wanted to know who's that guy that sitting in front of those computers, that would be interesting to tell too haha.
This anime really is something else! it's pouring you with lots of emotions, which is good, no, I mean great! at first I was kinda hesitating to watch this anime because of the plot of the story (and then I assumed everything about the story by myself), but I tried to watch it anyway, all the way until the end and guess what? I'm glad that I watched it! >.<

This anime is entirely different from what I've watched so far. Unlike Clannad and Clannad After School which mostly involves with the couples' life journey, Angel Beats concentrates more on the students plus their own past bad/unhappy life. It was funny how the characters were blaming Angel in the anime, accusing her and trying to figure out why they were there. They even have weapons and fighting scenes!
I didn't like the first two episodes though because it was slow and I didn't understand what was happening at the time. But I'm glad I didn't (read more)

It was really a good anime to watch, with fights, romance, putting your thinking cap and just burst your tears watching it (kind of like a roller coaster ride). (show less)
This anime made me realize that life is just a gift from god. He can take it whenever he wants. So live your life to the fullest... enjoy your life. So that when the time has come that God is already taking us... We wont have any regrets.
