The sequel excels in so many ways :)

So, now I have finally gotten around to seeing this sequel to the first series, and I gotta say:huge improvement over the first. It expanded and followed up on what came in the first series while also introducing new concepts(which carry connections to the previous series as well) and characters which make for great drama and action. The characters are well developed and all compliment each other in some way. Aquarion Evol. New Evolution 12000 years after the 2 Aquarion history happen. its okay for the evolution. the mecha and quality is good too. Worthy to watch especially fangirls who love Lovey Dovey genre. Eventhough its still in shounen genre. Aquarion never stop amazed me especially the mecha concept. its weird but interesting! i like how the combination happen. congratulations Aquarion~

Well so far not nearly as good as the original series, which was awesome as it combined the minds behind Macross and Escaflowne. Dialogue is good, the action is good, but anyone familiar with the original Aquarion may find this one lacking. That said I'm going to keep watching it and see if it starts to relate more to the original, though the only concept I found really odd is that in the original it took 12,000 years after a war, and the description on this one says it's an additional 12,000 years after the first series.
