Summary:
The story takes place in Tokyo Butei High School, a special school where armed detectives — "Butei" — are trained to use weapons. Kinji Tooyama is a second-year-student who has a special ability, but he keeps it a secret to maintain an ordinary, peaceful life. However, when he gets caught in a bombing on the way to school, he encounters H. Aria Kanzaki, the most powerful S-Rank Butei student in Assault Studies.

Right after I read the plot synopsis I thought the concept sounded hilariously entertaining. And I was right. The show is suprisingly well paced, being very action-packed, but still finds time to throw in humour and some emotional scenes. There were some supernatural and sci-fi aspects I didnt see coming, but I enjoyed them nonetheless. The characters seemingly start out as not much more than tropes, but get some development as the show goes on. I wish they would have had a few more episodes to resolve a few unanswered plot points. The animation is amazing, although the character designs themselves are a bit bland, therefore I cant give it the highest grade. All in all, a fairly solid action-show that´s easy to get into, yet still has a little depth.
PS! For all you horndogs out there, I will say that the fanservice in the show is a lot less than subtle, and there is also plenty of it, so enjoy :D (show less)

This anime was really packed with action and all while still in high school? It brings action to another level with weapons heavily focused and not magic as most other animes have so it seems more realistic in a sense.

Like the title, this anime is really cool! With the nice graphic, smooth animation, this anime is one of the best action anime! I like the drawing of the character. The protagonist has two different personality, and i really like that. Rie Kugimiya is really fit to become Aria's voice, the best! Just watch this anime and you will not regret for it :D
I expected more out of this. The animation was pretty good and the action scenes were impressive.
However the storyline was very predictable. The dialogue was bad. I wouldnt really recommend to watch this, there are better animes out there.
naruto and bleach and onepiece all of them are good in their own way
any evryone like a specfic kind of anime and not beacuse you like bleach more for example you insult other animes so please stop this childesh talk.
Review:Hidan no Aria is a good anime not that good but still watching it is not a waste i hope there is a second season and i hope it would be better than this.
