I found this to be a really good sport anime, one of my absolute favorites. It's not quite as good as my 2 favorites Haikyuu and Kuroko no Basket but it makes a close second. The characters were likeable and interesting and the sport enjoyable. The main character isn't some super genius with amazing natural talents but he does have some talents and the rest he gets through hard work. I thought the romance was particularly good in this anime and found it fairly realistic, This anime also contains some good humour. All in all a generally enjoyable ( read more)

Awesome anime...i like this more than Prince of Tennis, which was a good anime just a little over the top. Love how the character starts off slow and slowly builds up his skills...//

If you can imagine Yuri on Ice! meets Holmes of Kyoto, then this is it. Slow paced but gripping. Boy-Love but not distasteful...
