Summary:
Toraji Ishida is a high school kendo teacher. His friend and fellow kendo teacher makes him a bet: if Ishida can assemble a girls' kendo team that can defeat his girls' team in a practice match, he'll treat Ishida to free meals at his father's sushi restaurant for a whole year. Now Ishida must find five girls to join the team.

I've always wondered what kendo was. Which I found out after watching this, its funny and got some school life in it also showing some action.

Awesome characters which makes u love this anime. Its a combination of love, friendship, teamwork. The whole anime got great humor but it also contains seriousness, very good anime u wont get bored of it, even if u dont like kendo u will like the anime.

The story is about a Kendo school club and events around them. There are no supernatural things, characters with superhuman strength nor any kind of fantastic things. The story is merely from a slice of life and absolutely realistic; don't expect something like Rurouni Kenshin. Some scenes are really funny, which prevents you become bored. The battle & match scenes are not excellent but good enough. Fighting scenes contain nice details about the Kendo technique. This is a good anime for you if you like Kendo, otherwise you might become bored, but (read more)
