A fun anime to watch

I really enjoyed watching "Bamboo Blade". I caught six episodes (dubbed into English) on cable, and came here to find the rest of them. I like the characters and the way the Kendo team support each other. In fact, I even tracked down a local Kendo group and have started attending classes myself. It's a little too soon to say whether Kendo as presented in the anime is portrayed accurately, but from what I've seen and read so far, it's pretty much on the mark. And the people really do seem to be enjoying themselves in class, just like the Muroe Kendo Club in the anime do. (Could've done without the obnoxious American girl in the anime though, but you gotta take the bad with the good, I suppose.)

If you can imagine Yuri on Ice! meets Holmes of Kyoto, then this is it. Slow paced but gripping. Boy-Love but not distasteful...
