Summary:
Sato Yo is a high school boy who likes SEGA games. One day, he enters a grocery store to buy some food for dinner. When he tries to take a bento box, he loses consciousness. He comes around to find all the bento sold out. He notices there is a war game going on at grocery stores and players called \"Wolves\" compete for the half-priced bento. Yarizui Sen, the leader of the Half-Pricer Club, forces Yo to join the club and he enters the bento war.
This anime is full of comedy and fight for Half Priced Bento. When u look at the first episode where satou doesnt know anything about normal things like 'buy ticket to board train' makes things really funny. I pretty much like the concept of wolves where they follow certain rules before hunting half priced bento. The Hunt for half priced bento becomes a competition as the main protagonist comes to challenge professional bento hunters. Fun gets bigger when satou earns the title perv**t. It was a Happy Ending and I pretty much liked all the characters. (read more)

The anime is quite funny. Fighting for half priced lunch basically every day, is a funny thing. Making a big fuss over just lunch. How intense it gets is just amazing, specially how it's over food. It will make you hungry though, trust me. But this anime is was funny and enjoyable, the characters are nicely done and the action is pretty fast but cool. You'll enjoy this anime. :D
If only this was in reality then every day would be worth it. Fighting for bento. Enjoying it. And wait for the next fight. Then Everyday would be so much fun. I enjoy this anime and hopefully it doesnt disappoint me when it finish

A epic satiric work it can only be praised,
the trivial theme got worked up to an epic sacred war.....or something on that line :D.

It's interesting indeed.. A battle over bento.. A japanese boxed lunch.. But, I've been wondering.. Is there no other better reason to fight over?? Btw.. It's a nice anime

To be honest, it's one of my favs at this season. I understand that the concept of fighting for lunch boxes (aka. bentos) may discourage from watching, but it is worth it. The animations are splendid, and fighting scenes looks just awesome. I gave it 4 for the story because of the main hero, other characters are to my liking. Overall, this is a nice comedy, so far without annoying romance. I strongly recommend it.
