it has it all, bloody violence, generous (and i use that term as an understatement) amounts of action, humor, hot women, and overall amazing story and characters. what's even better is that people have said that it seems to end in this season, but there are so many story arcs created in second barrage that open up this anime to go on for another season or two, the cool part is that as much as i personally hate animes that drag on and on with no apparent sign of ending i don't want this one to end, i have watched every BL episode at least 3 times so far and i'm still itching to watch it again at this very moment (show less)

Okey, we seen black lagoon, we've seen the kick ass action, we've seen Revy wasting asses from the Atlantic to the Pacific ocean and cause a riot deep wthin"PIRATE VILLE ISLAND!" of Roanapur , bursting her cutlass, Two Hands takes down big bad asses and scares the hell outta little children, with a simple expression as she says We're Already DEAD!, and off coarse Rock's gonna nod cause he'd freakn go to hell if its wif Revy, n shed do the same, I SAY, I SAY!!! TO HELL!, Revy TWo HANDS stood FACE TO FACE with the NOTORIOUS ever SO WYKD HOTEL MOSCOW's OWN BLOOD THIRSTY GUT Tearing Balalaika for whose sake?! ROCk's. i'd say the second barrage is more of those two due, the bond they share, not the lagoon company not wats going on in japan, not Balalaika's plan but the ends those two wud put up with, if it was for one-another sake... a must see, adrenalin packed combi of pistols, plots, schemes, gore obsessed, vile-passioned Anime...
