There are two major groups involved in the ensuring war. The first group consists of monsters known as Chiropterans who can change their appearances into that of human beings. They are actually immortals who feed on the blood of the living. The second group is an organisation known as the "Red Shield", formed to track down these monsters and exterminate them. Otonashi Saya is a high-school girl who lives a peaceful life with her family. The only problem is, she has no recollections of her life beyond that of the past year. a interesting anime-connecting the world of the past and present and tries to make sense of it (of course with a supernatural twist). Overall, i found the anime a bit prolonged - not that it was too long but the fact that if thats all there was to the story it could have been shorter.

The beginning of this anime started well for me but after that i just started getting bored of the whole story. between episodes 14 to about 35 i found myself skipping some of the story cuz i was just really bored. i guess after that it started getting more interesting. i was confused to tell the truth about who Diva was at the beginning. the story doesnt explain who Diva was until the middle of the story, so confuzzled about why the hell Saya was so desperate to kill Diva that I just got bored. entertainment wise i guess this anime was average, (read more)

I am not a big fan of this anime. It goes on for way too long. Out of the 50 episodes there are only about 10 episodes that really held my attention. The characters are not convincing and their relationships are puke-inducing at best. You really can't sympathize with any of them; (WARNING: possible spoilers) from a frustrated teenage boy who doesn't know how to deal with anything, a girl who has lost her memory and who is oblivious to the fact that everyone is in love with her and who does not know how to respond to anything that happens to her, (read more)

I liked this anime alot for the story but I couldn't get into for a while. The first few episodes were really boring for me. Lots of talk and mysterious past stories that don't make any sense until almost the end of the show. If you can get through the first maybe 5 or 6 eps then things being to pick up. Being this is supposed to be connected to the Blood the Last Vampire movie it has its connections but is very different overall. The charaters were hit or miss. you have the bad guys which were pretty good but some of the good guys lacked any real (read more)
