The reason I began watching this show was through channel surfing. Although I saw a minute or two of the show at first, it was captivating. I usually hate beginning series from a mid-point, yet there is something about the characters, the animation and storyline that draws you in.

At first, the storyline may seem generic if you watch a lot of robot oriented anime (or programs in general), but there are a lot of personal touches that are unique and exciting to the series. The characters are clever. Although taken from the original version, there are many changes which better the characters. No matter what type of character you like, I'm sure you'll find an interest in one, if not all.
Overall, it's a very quirky series with a lot of entertainment value; it's a shame it hasn't been continued. (show less)
At first glance this seemed like just another sequel, but apparently it is a reinterpretation of the first OVA series spread out over more episodes. And I have to say it really helps the plot and makes it more coherent. There´s quite a few character moments as well. Action is okay, but could have been more intense at some places. The anime also could have used a stronger soundtrack to strengthen some scenes. And it had a little abrupt ending. Otherwise, it´s a pretty decent show :)
i haven't seen this anime in so long, but i know its great. loved the animation for its time and was very entertaining. i'm suprised they didn't make another one up to date with the times now. i give nothing more and nothing less for this awesome anime. i just know its great.
