Its alright not ss hood as I was hoping it to be.I strated to loos interest getting more into it but I guess that's how some animes are. I probaly try again o watch it. Assuming it will get better
If you like action and adventure with a hint of comedy, this is the show for you. But if you are more into the story, I suggest you look otherwise. It is an entertaining show, don't get me wrong. The thing is that the story is incomplete. There almost is no story. And at the end, there is no real resolution. The bad guy isn't defeated or even really fought. Also, it just ends in the middle of the story. The manga goes way more into the actual story.

Here's to Yu Conda and his awesome Mugen Anti-Akuma slaying blades! This series is great esp. if you're into the whole spiritial realm between life and death. Contains fantasy action, humor, drama and horror. Yosh I give it 4/5. Wish it could have gone a little longer.

Whats gonna happen and the animation is the only you really can go for. The story line and the dialogue is REALLY repetitive so if u get annoyed easily when someone says the same line over and over again u dont wanna watch this. But if its ok with you and u love action and suspense then its for u.
Interesting characters and some funny parts through out the show but the amount of fillers is probably the worst part, although some provide interesting back story. Allen was a fun character to watch progress as the show adds new people to join him on his quest.
Good show it does take a while to pick up ..quite a bit actually after ep 50 or so the show basically just launches super fast an next thing u kno wfights an action and blah blah its awesome >:D soo if u wanna watch this anime u gotta be patient a bit ..but its worth waiting especially if u like action :D...one more thing this show does kinda stop and the manga continues so just read manga after the show ends cuz i have no idea when theyll start making the rest of this show again or if they are ever goin to LOL

A great anime with a slow start. It may seem boring in the first few episodes but it keeps getting interesting.. The character development is good. The series have many funny points thus make it very entertaining. As the story progress, the theme becomes grayer and the protagonist manlier.
Dumb.. everything was good, till around the last episodes i was like.. hmm, this probably will end really fast and weird.
THEN ON EP 103 IT DOESNT END!! he defeats some gay thing, then its like, "we will contonue to fight on, blah blah" they didnt even kill the melenium earl,.. wtf..

Ok, so they chose not to follow the manga to the letter. That's fine I guess, only they added some silly little stories here and there that don't really add anything to the main plot which originally had a nice flow to it and a coherent sequence of events. The anime kind of ruins that with those little additions. But it's always fun to see characters you love come to life so I don't regret having started this series. I haven't finished it yet, but I hope they stick more to the story later on, especially the part with Kanda's past. Though he's by no means my favorite character, that part ties things together very nicely and ads a very touching story to boot. The manga is still more exciting and attractive in my opinion, especially when it comes to the artwork. It's a shame because the manga was quite unique and original, but as an anime it loses that special something which set it apart from other series. But if you haven't read the manga, you'll enjoy it for what it is. It has a bit of everything: fighting, fantasy, and good humor. So yeah, watch it. But fans of the manga beware. (show less)
