Seven kids are transported to the Digital World, a strange place where digital creatures called "Digimon" reside. A group of Digimon soon befriend them and keep the kids out of harm's way. The children then become the Digidestined, or Chosen Children, which protect the Digital World from evil Digimon like Devilmon and Myotismon. |

I used to watch this when I was a kid and it was my favorite anime. I rewatched it just recently and I gotta say, even though it seems a bit childish at first (in the first episodes the Digimon and the humans are kinda...childish for their age) as it progresses it becomes really good (children mature because of the conditions, they get the Crests and plot becomes darker). This anime can be for both kids and adults, so give it a try, and remember to watch the whole series before you form an opinion. It's stupid to judge something without seeing all of it...

If you can imagine Yuri on Ice! meets Holmes of Kyoto, then this is it. Slow paced but gripping. Boy-Love but not distasteful...
