Based on the hit video game by Nippon Ichi. After a two year slumber, Laharl, the prince of the Netherworld, finds the Netherworld in chaos after the death of his father, King Krichevskoy. Not wasting any time, Laharl, with the help of his father's former vassal Etna, sets out to conquer the Netherworld and proclaim himself Overlord.

This is certainly a must watch anime! It is definitely a different story line to most anime with great dialogue and explanations displaying the Netherworld. It does a great job of capturing the audience and provides useful entertainment. If you are wondering whether or not to watch this, it is worth it.

its about a highschool surviving zombie apocalypse,thats is 2 boys and 5 girls which mean if u know what i mean is :D ,this anime full of ecchi and yea its about shooting zombie for those who like watching zombie,better watch this,the best zombie anime :D ,all the story sometime excellent and good,but i give it excellent ,entertainment i give excellent it full of funny,dramatic and comedy,

After playing the first Disgaea game, I decided to check out the anime as well, and I wasn't disappointed... too badly. The animation could have used a bit of work, but since the game animators were understandably busy when they made this, they wouldn't have had much time to perfect its quality. Other than that, the story was great, the dialogue was quite believable and the entertainment level is off the chart~ :3 I just wish it was a bit longer though, it felt rushed.
