I love DBZ so you should like Kai right....For me the answer is NO, nothing makes this better then the original.
Voices Actors: some are same some are not and the ones that aren't are the worse voice actors that I have herd
Story: of course is the same wait its less with only 98 episodes compare that with Z 291 episodes
Animation: not to much diffident then DBZ, there are a little fix's there
In the end I started to think we didn't they just show DBZ again.
Z has more episodes then Kai and with fillers and the fillers were the funniest thing about Z
also let it be noted a blue Mr. Popo on my local channel and after Kai voice actors Dragon Ball games are getting really bad.
If your in a rush to see Dragon Ball Z the you should watch Kai....

If you can imagine Yuri on Ice! meets Holmes of Kyoto, then this is it. Slow paced but gripping. Boy-Love but not distasteful...
