Righty...I grew up witht he original it was a Phenominion!!! The Episodes Fitted, Characters were Hilarious, Storylines transended perfectly to the next and it went at a good pace. Now I could understand if they wanted to take out a few episodes in the Frezza Saga, as they were suspended in air for far too long....But redoing the whole thing, editing it into scraps, so much fighting with out the storyline to back it...this rendition is really awful! They ruined a Classic! Don't Fix it if it arn't Broke!

Don't get me wrong. This is a good anime but not this version. The original DBZ is much better. In this version the Vegeta Saga lasted, what, like 6 episodes while in the original it lasted about 3 times that. They're focusing on the fighting too much in my opinion. The original has more character development and more storyline. In this version they completely erased a part of the story line. It takes Goku 6 months to reach King Kai but it doesn't say why. If you'd like to know that and possibly more things they will leave out check out the original. ( read more)

If you can imagine Yuri on Ice! meets Holmes of Kyoto, then this is it. Slow paced but gripping. Boy-Love but not distasteful...
