Goku is back with his new son, Gohan, but just when things are getting settled down, the adventures continue. Whether he is facing enemies such as Frieza, Cell, or Buu, Goku is proven to be an elite of his own and discovers his race, Saiyan and is able to reach Super Saiyan 3 form. He meets many new people, gaining allies and well as enemies, as he still finds time to raise a family and be the happy-go-lucky Saiyan he is. |

DBZ got alot of people into Anime, Without DBZ I highly doubted anime would be so popular as it is right now. Their probably wouldn't be a Naruto, Bleach, or One piece, Or if their was I doubt they would be as popular as they're today. Those show's got and lot of inspiration from DBZ.
At one point DBZ was the most watched TV show on televison, I forgot which year but its on the Season box sets. This show had grown men watching it. If you ask me DBZ put anime on the map, but of course it had help thanks to toonami and shows like pokemon, rurouni kenshin, and yu yu hakusho.
So even if you don't like DBZ you have to at least show it some respect for what it did for anime. I meaan it hasn't been coming on for 20+ years for nothing

If you can imagine Yuri on Ice! meets Holmes of Kyoto, then this is it. Slow paced but gripping. Boy-Love but not distasteful...
