Goku is back with his new son, Gohan, but just when things are getting settled down, the adventures continue. Whether he is facing enemies such as Frieza, Cell, or Buu, Goku is proven to be an elite of his own and discovers his race, Saiyan and is able to reach Super Saiyan 3 form. He meets many new people, gaining allies and well as enemies, as he still finds time to raise a family and be the happy-go-lucky Saiyan he is. |

Possibly the most popular anime of all time, this anime is still talked about despite bieng decades old. There have been many remakes including Dragon Ball Kai which have tried to improve on it, but in my opinion this is still the greatest Dragon Ball Z ever!! The story is excellent, with a mixture of normal life and amazing battles, the characters are excellent and the dialogue is used wonderfully to add depth to both the story and the characters. The animation was amazing for its time, and is still excellent by todays standards. The battles are colourfull and the characters expressions are masterfully drawn, creating one of the best anime of all time. Definitely a must for any anime fan!!

If you can imagine Yuri on Ice! meets Holmes of Kyoto, then this is it. Slow paced but gripping. Boy-Love but not distasteful...
