Summary:
Oozora Reiji isn't a lazy boy, he's just terribly unmotivated; all the clubs and activities he's joined don't interest him for long. That is, of course, until his best friend Yukino takes him to a underground arcade where an unbelievable virtual reality game is played - Dragon Drive - in which players fight each other with virtual dragons. Reiji ends up throwing all he's got into training a dragon so rare that the Dragon Drive staff are baffled. But soon Reiji learns that Dragon Drive isn't all it seems, and he might be the only one who can save an entire world from evil.
The animation looked good but later they started using cgi elements like in the new naruto shippuden episodes . Why ? Cgi looks like shit !

I finished this anime a year ago but man was it good. I almost forgot about it. The ending is very sad and the story keeps you atached to the screen. Very good story build up and character development through middle of the show and lots of memorable moments !

now that you remind me of this anime...
When this ended i cryd this was 1 of ma fav series and i loved it and the litle dragon just like a cut pet! chibi left him and i mean the ORIGNAL chibi left him and is gone from him his litle cute pet he did everything with him. Training, playing, protecting and he loved him no matter what :D Farewell the litle cute pet gone from the world bye dragon drive i will miss you! D:

How dare you insult this anime by writing a pointless and stupid review ? This is btw one of the best anime i have seen. Its kinda based on animes like konjiki no gash bell and has some digimon elements but this anime has a far superioir storyline and very unique and interesting storyline. At first I want impressed at all when watching this but after i got a little into it I noticed the comlexity of this anime and trust me it gets better and better though iuts very short sadly.

9,5/10 This anime only lacks a little in pacing because at first the pace is okay but then it gets very fast paced and thats kinda sad because you want more and more of this.
Great anime. I woulod watch it again one day (show less)
