Summary:
The story is set in 19th century England and centers on a "fairy doctor" named Lydia. Her life takes a 180-degrees turn when she meets a legendary blue knight count named Edgar and his crew. He hires her as an adviser during his quest to obtain a treasured sword that was supposed to be handed down to him by his family.

The first time I saw this anime, well, it sort of taken my breath away and had kept me in suspense anticipating on what the main character will do next. I say this anime is a josei, perfect for ladies aged 18 to 30 but i'm sure that teens starting 11 and above will immensely enjoy this anime because of the mixture of romance and that fairy tale feeling while watching the anime... I mean, what kind of girl wouldn't want a fairy tale romance?
Just one thing though, since it only has so few episodes, I kept wanting for a continuation since I think (read more)

The story is interesting itself. It portrays the romance well between the characters and on an adventurous quest, history reveals itself bit by bit. I found this a joy to watch and I quite enjoyed it.

Talk about a wonderfully put together beaut of an anime. Earl and Fairy is to die for. it is a pity that it is only one season long but I don't think it could have gotten better than it already is. BANZAI HAKUSHAKU TO YOUSEI> SAIKO DA!!!!
