Everything is sweet and it gives u a alternative meaning to an end. But the ending is still out of this world ...Shinji wakes up beside asuka then choking her crying ..she raises her had to supposedly comfort him ..he cries like a Prick and like 25 sec... Asuka says uhhh i think this is disgusting :S lol do they end up together or what... lol get it straight...if its and ending make it worth while that it ends not dramtically suspensed in what is that suppose to mean and if they are to continue man kinds next step :S

Unlike the rebuild of evangelion series, this movie is best viewed after you have finished watching the TV series. This movie brings an end to the series in a most unexpected way (at least for me). The animation was enhanced form the TV series and has a wonderful music score added to it. This will probably have a lasting impact on you if you like the original series and in the end leave you to ponder "what just happened?"

Wraps up the story pretty well. If you liked the series you will like this. Of course the new movies are better and this definately shows its age but it is much better than the series ending.
