Hyperactive Excel does anything and everything to try to please her lord, Ilpalazzo, who wants to take over the planet. Excel's misadventures takes her and her partner, the ever-dying Hyatt, all over the world, meeting several strange people as they go. I've ever seen. From beginning to the end I was rolling on the floor laughing that I couldn't have even brathe :D where else u can see murder of managa creator in live action in his own anime :D ? And in which anime takes the biggest role director personally with such a reaaaaly huge afro xD ?

For those who have a problem with the story, it's made known in the summary that there really isn't one - THAT'S THE POINT! You should watch this if you want to laugh hysterically for no reason; not if you're looking for an anime with substance. Excel Saga is just oozing with parodies, random comedy and other nonsense and in my opinion is the best of its kind. If you know what to expect, you'll be very entertained.
As for the dialogue, I had no trouble with the dual audio. I don't think the English dubs are bad at all, but I tend to prefer ( read more)

If you can imagine Yuri on Ice! meets Holmes of Kyoto, then this is it. Slow paced but gripping. Boy-Love but not distasteful...
