Summary:
Production IG's 20th Anniversary Project, Ghost Hound is set in the modest town of Suiten, located in a desolate region in the island of Kyūshū. The story follows the experiences of three boys who have had traumatic experiences in childhood from which they have learned to transfer their souls to a parallel world known as the "Unseen World". The Unseen World is however undergoing a change, with its ghosts starting to appear in the real world, altering it in unpredictable ways.

This anime is amazing. It's horrifyingly captivating and the story is just unique. I really enjoyed watching and it was worth the time! It's unexpected and would leave the viewer feeling edgy as the story develops.

This anime is really amazing and has a special kind of horror that reminds me of the video game Silent Hill and if you like that game you must watch this anime. Ghost Hound is about 3 boys called Tarō,Makoto and Masayuki who have been a part of a bad thing that happend 11 years ago and leds them together till they decide to investigate what happend 11 years ago and finds themself around mysterious creatures lurking in the dark. Top notch anime if your looking for mystery and horror! a must watch!

Well, after reading the description I expected somethin different, more into ghosts and scary atmosphere... At first, I was disappointed, but the story turned out to be interesting and worth watching.
It's 'a slice of life' anime with psychological stuff included in - as main characters are more into visiting the Unseen World you are told about how your brain works and about the scientifical point of view about dreams and memories. It all is necessary to have a beter understanding of the plot and things behind the scene ;)

What I liked the most in this serie were unique and deep characters, with traumatic pasts but with the power to live with it and not forgetting it. Thet are not friends and differences of their personalities made that show even more interesting, dialogues were really good, though I didn't like the animation... it was too simple.
So, summing up, this show was good, but not the best - i'm more into action series, fighting scenes etc. and that psychological talks made me litte bored, but I'd recommend Ghost Hound to anyone who is interested in influence of memories, dreams and selfconsciouness on live and also wants to watch a nice story about unusual relationship of boys and their adventures :) (show less)

Much better then i expected and highly recomended, dident seem that interesting from the plot info but this one is up there with higurashi and Ghost hunt. origional plot, nice likable characters, makes you think :)
