Summary:
Colin MacLeod, the immortal Scottish Highlander, travels with the wise-cracking ghost Amergan in search of the immortal despot Marcus Octavius, who killed Colin's lover on the Celtic plains centuries earlier. The once great city of New York is now submerged under water, with only one dominant fortress towering over the sea, the fortress of Marcus Octavius. MacLeod is torn between saving the survivors of New York and hunting down his nemesis.
this anime is great and hell a lot better than the movie and TV series ,the characters are well made and colin has a reason to revenge for his wifes death and also that every woman that he meets is actually a version of his wife but only his wife is in his eyes.i didnt really hate marcus ,even though it was made so he would be hated but i liked him ,,,,he was the almighty character that sees the greater picture.and this movie is actually the short and consis version of the long story and has all the nessesary material to make a wonderful story (read more)

A grand retelling of the original Highlander moive, done by the team responsible for Ninja Scroll and Vampire Hunter D Bloodlust.
Ok, heres the plot in a nutshell. For a few hundred years Colin McCloud is a immortal tracking down another immortal that murdered his wife. And they will have epic battle after epic until one kills the other.
If your familiar with the source material, then you know whats going to happen. But this movie is one of the better installments in the long running series. Its a good retelling of the original with some (read more)
