The story takes place in Japan in the early 21st century, in an alternate reality where the Tokugawa Shogunate has remained in power. In this reality, student councils are tasked with oppressing schools. Yagyuu Muneakira is a high school student who rebels against his student council with the help of girls who've had the names of famous samurai heroes passed on to them. |

usual 12 eps mediocrity

don t watch it...
its just the same as every 12 to 14 eps ecchi series with 3 to 5 girls and a guy, no big deal, no history...
comes to reenforce my theory that it is almost every series below 20 eps is just a waste of time (exept of course for series like Highschool of the dead, wich i highly recommend!), you could jump 3 eps and miss nothing exept some stupid nudity scenes.
this kind of series has no interest in plot, history or any kind of deeper intentions than just keep you hanging around...

Will even the concept of Samurai not like go half naked and fight.
So it is only anime that have more Eicchi for nothing.
This anime is for increase selling Action Figures to Otakus that is all.
A F up story like a harm to 1 person Only the Animations was not that bad.

If you can imagine Yuri on Ice! meets Holmes of Kyoto, then this is it. Slow paced but gripping. Boy-Love but not distasteful...
