The story of "love, magic, and battles" revolves around Akuto Sai, a boy who aims to become part of his country's highest order of magicians and contribute to society. On the day he is admitted into the Constant Magical Academy, his aptitude test predicts the following: "Future Occupation … Devil King." Thus begins his difficult school life in which he is resented by his studious female class head, desired by a girl with mysterious powers, and guarded by a beautiful female android.

I stumbled on this anime merely because well it had an Interesting title Demon King at the Back Row, watching at first though it just didn't seem like it deserved the title, but as the episodes progress I just didn't stop watch at all. Its not an anime you can stop watching once you start and unlike most anime where the ecchi is not fitting for it this series used it for absolute comedy, its just beyond funny at times and just really weird at other all in all an absolutely awesome series with one of the best show pacing and endings I have ever seen (read more)

A little to ecchi sometimes. but it's really funny, got a lot off good jokes, got great fighting scenes and a lot of action, reminds me off a bad ass ichigo with mana instead of spirit force who means all-well but always f..k things up.. the Anime is not long and if you are looking for something to watch, you won't regret this one:)
Anime adaptations of novel series are rare but most of them are worth watching. (Familiar of Zero, Slayers and Full Metal Panic are three that come to mind, I put them in order of genre) This series has nice pacing, after all they had to cover the entire first novel in one season. I'm hoping the studio that did this will do the rest.

sexy girls and little ecchi so guys dont get bored, the animation is pure epicness, the powers + the scenes blows my mind, the storyline is pretty intense, and the humor is sprinkles on top

This was so entertaining,it kept my interest from the begging to the end.An interesting story line,ecchi,but not too much just enough to look really good ;) You'll love the characters.Battles are well done ,so if u love an magic ecchi supernatural anime,this is the one for you! :D
