| Summary: |
Tony Stark is a physicist, an engineer, and the CEO of a major arms manufacturing company. On a battlefield he is injured from his own weapons and taken prisoner by terrorists. In order to keep his own heart beating, he creates the Ironman Suit and escapes. Once free, Stark decides to dedicate his life to pursuing world peace with the Ironman technology, so he moves to Japan to use the resources of "Lab 23," home of the world's first Arc Reactor. Wanting to devote himself fully to this research, Stark decides to retire as Ironman and announce the mass-production of suits to fulfill his duties. But at the announcement ceremony he is attacked by the mysterious organization known as "Zodiac," and his plans have to change. |

good attempt for an iron man anime adaptation

when i heard that iron man will be given the anime treatment i have high expectation..however, i must say that though the story is quite unique it lacks certain characteristics that made it into a great adaptation. Average enemies like robotic zodiacs doesn't really give much substance to the series compared to more well-known villains like the Mandarin or MODOK. The 3d is also a bit of a let down since i've seen much polished version done by GONZON like Vandread it would have better if they stick to 2d instead. The only good factor are the fight ( read more)

I saw the PV, [http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L4Q7xgxDJh4] and I was really impressed. Everything was flashy, beautiful and seamless, but most importantly, DRAWN. I feel like it takes away from the anime by using GC animations. It's probably easier for them to do and the technology has come a long way, but I feel like it really contrasts with the drawn animations that they use in the rest of the anime. In the PV everything is drawn and it's beautiful. I'm pretty disappointed that they decided not to follow through with it in the series.

This anime has (as i think) a long way to go before this is as good as the real life films but not comparing this brilliant anime to the films, it is very well made and i think it was a good idea

If you can imagine Yuri on Ice! meets Holmes of Kyoto, then this is it. Slow paced but gripping. Boy-Love but not distasteful...
