Tony Stark is a physicist, an engineer, and the CEO of a major arms manufacturing company. On a battlefield he is injured from his own weapons and taken prisoner by terrorists. In order to keep his own heart beating, he creates the Ironman Suit and escapes. Wanting to devote himself fully to this research, Stark decides to retire as Ironman and announce the mass-production of suits to fulfill his duties. But at the announcement ceremony he is attacked by the mysterious organization known as "Zodiac," and his plans have to change.

After all the iron man series attempts, this one finally shows some promise of being a series that doesn't have a story line for middle school students or action that insults ones very perception of physics with scenes that seem like they're from a poorly choreographed, low budget 1990's Power Rangers episode. All in all exceptional animation quality, story leaves a bit of depth to be desired so far, (but what 1st or 2nd episode of a new series doesn't?), very entertaining, and above all it captures the witty banter and sly humor that captured the hearts of so many in the recent Iron Man movies very well. 10 out of 10 for now, the only criticism being the slight lack of real story, conflict, and character development we anime veiwers love O so much.
