Summary:
Late 19th century. Young, handsome and wealthy English nobleman Jonathan Joestar seems to have everything people crave for. His lowly-born adopted brother Dio Brando, brought into the family by Jonathan's father George, is particularly jealous of Jonathan. When Jonathan found out Dio's horrible secret, he tried to use an stone mask that looks like a torture instrument to kill Jonathan, who's into archaeology and might make the death looks like an accident. However, the stone mask is anything but a simple instrument.
This is the story of the Joestar family, and their battles against bizarre enemies. Jonathan Joestar's battle against the vampire Dio Brando starts it all, and it continues into roughly each second generation of Joestars through all parts of the story.

It's great to see a full TV adaptation of Jojo, and this anime does not disappoint. Jojo's Bizarre Adventure is about an adventure and it's bizarre. It will make you laugh and it will make you excited. Watching this series will make you a million times more manly. Even if you're female. Jojo's Bizarre Adventure starts out slowly, but don't let that put you off because it just gets better as it goes along. I'm not personally a fan of battle shounen series in general, but I still love Jojo's Bizarre Adventure because it's just so good at what it does.
The anime is brilliantly animated, with fresh colours and clean graphics. The story so far is intact and in play with the manga. The dialogue has no problem, however I feel there's too much description than action. All in all, great so far :)

For all of you who like a good ol' fashioned shounen... Haven't seen an anime series this good since Lupin III-Mine Fujiko to iu Onna ended. Give it a try, you 30-somethings, and see for yourselves!
