Synopsis
The story is set on a high school that the student council president Satsuki Kiryuuin rules by force. Wielding a giant Basami scissors sword, the wandering transfer student Ryuuko Matoi brings about upheaval on the campus. Ryuuko searches for the mysterious figure who caused her father's death, but confronting her are the student council's "four divine kings." Fortunately, Ryuuko is aided by a talking sailor uniform who tells her, "Wear me. When I am worn by you, this power will become manifest."

Fun show from Gainax

Gainax is up to it's antiques again, and it seems this time they're more self-aware than ever. I wanted to watch it as objectively as possible, especially since it's Studio Trigger doing the actual animation, but I couldn't help but notice the setting city looks like a drill piercing the heavens, and the crazy almost lazy animations, and all those explosions. Classic Gainax stuff, and they enjoy it.
I've watched up to episode 8. So far as I can tell the super simple revenge tale seems to be introducing many other ideas.
And a lot of sexiness ( read more)

I love the show, it's fun to watch. It's from two studios that I love, and it looks like I can look forward to lot's of epicness.
I'm finding it hard to present any further thoughts so I'll just say that I rate it a high 7 or an 8/10. But i'm leaning more to the 7. It isn't a masterpiece or jump-out-of-my-seat amazing, but with the degradation in entertaining anime these days it's a welcome watch. ( show less)

I want to say kill la kill is one funny, crazy, fight filled anime. 80% of this anime is soaked in crisp action, I love this anime. You'll just keep watching and re-watching this anime just for the fights and funny scenes. All in all, its not a waste of time you won't regret your time watching this anime.

If you like the fight scenes in Panty and Stocking, you like the action in this anime. I would say 90% of this anime is just fighting.

TTGL fans must watch this brand new anime from TRIGGER. Created by some of GAINAX's staff that has worked with TTGL and NGE. Action packed and humorous, story-wise, not so great, and too much fan-service. but overall, it's still entertaining to watch, action scenes are done by hand making it unique.
